Teams are required to supply a referee each night.
BTFA will hold a Level 1 referee course in the first few weeks of the season. Player referees do not have to have completed the course (although it is beneficial & free!!). There is plenty of support offered to new referees, and if you are just starting out you will be partnered up with someone more experienced. Plus, for every game you ref – you get paid!
